We looked at nursing homes but found them to be cold and impersonal. So we turned to personal care homes as our next option. We looked at several in our area but always seems to be a little disappointed. Then we found Elaine&#039;s, It was love at first sight. It was clean, the people were friendly and there was a great &quot;family feel&quot; to it. We knew it was the right place for my father-in-law instantly. When she first came to Elaine&#039;s, she was hardly eating but the caregivers sat and fed her and encouraged her to eat util now she eats on her own and does well. They are very observant of any slight change in her health status and they are very kind to mom. Elaine&#039;s is always neat and clean and they always have mom dressed neat and clean. Your loved one will be lucky to live there. They are great! I moved my grandmother in July of 2007. I couldn&#039;t be happier. I don&#039;t know what I would do without them. I can breath easier now knowing grandma is being properly cared for. Grandma has all the help she need to live each day with dignity. I&#039;m thankful to have Elaine&#039;s caring for my family member. It&#039;s just like home.
